Amazing product. From PBR to my favorite Chai brew from Brick House Brewery, it makes every beer we try through taste amazing! The best is watching friends try it for the first time. Very cool product. Love it!!
Everyone in the family likes Cozmo. I do laugh when my wife and step son talk to him like like he a pet. In the beginning they were spending hours with this toy. Not so much a week later. My step son who is 13 seems to play mostly in explorer mode where you get to drive him around using the app. I have briefly used the SDK and that seems like something I will explorer in greater detail. I using a Macbook Pro connected to iPad running the app in order to run sample python scripts. I think sparking the imagination of a teenager or perhaps someone much older in robotics or computer programming would be a good fit for this after the novelty wears off. Some have commented that it is very expensive for a toy and I would agree but not if it is used for further learning or other creative uses.
Fumes were so bad, I couldn't sleep in my own home for 2 nights. It worked okay, but even using lidded containers to keep the coating from getting sticky DIDN'T work well -- it got stringy (and difficult to apply). Technically, it does the job, but I should have been honest with myself and realized that it would look "DIY" when done by me and not a pro. Most things are great for DIY, I've done countertops, gardening, furniture, tile and grout, jewelry and metalwork (made our wedding bands from scratch)....but refinishing at tub/sink is not for DIY - that was my lesson learned. I hope you can learn from my over-confident mistake. : )
Wow... It only took me about 10 minutes to fall in love with this book. Definitely a strong one for CD. It touches on something so real between a husband and a wife that I know many people will be able to relate to pieces in their personal lives. Christine always writes such strong characters, this is no exception. Bravo!
