  • Dataman - A Riveting True Story of Adventure, Survival and Hope

In 1914 Sir Ernest Shackleton set out on an expedition to make the first land crossing of the barren Antarctic continent from the east to the west coast. The expedition failed to accomplish its objective, but became recognized instead as an amazing feat of endurance. Shackleton and a crew of 27 (plus one stowaway) first headed to the Weddell Sea on the ship Endurance. Their ship was trapped by pack ice short of their destination and eventually crushed. Forced to abandon ship, the men were trapped on ice floes for months while they drifted north. Once they were far enough north that the ice thinned somewhat, they were forced to journey in lifeboats they'd dragged off the ship. After six terrible days, they made it to uninhabited Elephant Island; from there Shackleton and five other men set off in an open 22-foot boat on an incredible 800-mile voyage across the notoriously tempestuous Drake Passage to South Georgia Island, where they hiked across the island’s mountain range to reach a whaling camp. From there, they returned in a ship to rescue the men left behind on Elephant Island.

  • Robert U. - Fraudulent power grab by Keurig

Had to give this worthless piece of crap one start. I certainly does not deserve any stars. Keurig is soooooo greedy they will not let any of the old pods or even the fill it yourself pods to work. I called customer service and they offered to give me first one box and the two boxes of their garbage coffee. I love the Keurig machine I have now (K-70) but when it finally dies I will go back to a normal coffee maker. This one was going to be for my office but no way am I keeping this junk.

  • G. Dawson - Another great collection

I love this collection, and I read it almost every year. Some years are better than others, and I think this is one of the good ones. There are stories by classic short story authors like Joyce Carol Oates (I think she's in almost annual every collection) and TC Boyle and also by some contemporary big names (like Joshua Ferris and Karen Russell). As usual, many of the stories were previously published in The New Yorker, Granta, and The Paris Review. But what I liked most about this collection is that it introduced me to some new authors (OA Lindsey and Molly McNett, for example) that published their stories in less main stream publications.

  • MM2000 - Great Exercise Companion

For a Wii Fit game I thought it was pretty good...I like the exercise animations a lot as well as the different colorful environments. I actually got a pretty good workout following Jillian's lead. Although the circuit creation section is easy to use, I would have liked to have even more of Jillian's pre-made circuits. I love the calendar system since I can actually stick to my workout schedule without having to rely on Outlook. Overall this is a good interactive fitness game that really feels like you're working out with Jillian. I recommend this game for anyone who wants to exercise at home and needs motivation (which the Wii controls, Jillian, and the calendar provide!).

  • Scoot Lagoosse - This helmet looks nice... but...

I have a really small head. So I was unsure which size to get. i went onto Bell's website to make sure as to what size I needed. I measured my noggin and ordered the small per specifications. It was too small. I could get the helmet on but it felt like I had a clamp on my head. So I had to order the medium instead. Of course Amazon's return policy is top notch and I had no problems. When i got the medium, I noticed the sun visor anchor nuts embedded in the helmet looked a little off. One in particular was misaligned slightly which made the visor really hard to attach. I also found the visor itself not to have enough "throw" and was really low, limiting visibility. So I got the Dremmel out and bored out the holes a little more. Problem fixed. Other than those small issues, the helmet is beautiful and is real comfortable. Luckily I haven't landed on my head yet so I will update if and when that happens.

  • ashley - I was worried that I wouldn't be able to drink it with water like it suggests and I was correct

I found this product to be very helpful for losing weight! I have a lot more energy after a few weeks of taking it. I was worried that I wouldn't be able to drink it with water like it suggests and I was correct. The peppermint overwhelmed me and is so very strong but I found that dropping 5 drops into Doterra vegetable capsules was a far better way to swallow the oils. I am very pleased with my results!

  • Sarah - keeping healthy

Whenever our kids started showing signs of a child, we would give them these gummies and their cold would go away much faster. Now, during cold weather, our kids take these every day and have not been sick nearly as much as before. I love these! I even take them when I'm starting to feel a little run down and it seems to be keeping me healthy. (Our kids are 2 and 4)
