I'm not a stranger to the Trio albums, I even played Farther Along at my father's funeral, so I was very interested in the unreleased tracks and alternate versions in this collection. They would be a gift at any time, but now that Linda can't sing anymore, they take on an additional poignancy and beauty that, for me at least, are almost hard to bear. I think the interplay among these three artists in any combination is glorious, like a few tracks on Linda's albums with Dolly or Emmy Lou. In fact, My Blue Tears on here is listed as unreleased, but it is a slightly different version than the one on Linda's Get Closer. The alternate version of the McGarrigles' I've Had Enough has one difference that just slayed me, I can't listen to it without crying.I wish they had taken a cover photo of the three of them from today, I think artists have to start taking a stand and speaking to their authenticity, they are older now, Linda is ill, but why does that have to be hidden, why do we have to act like things like that are things of which you need to be ashamed? And I read an article where the three of them were interviewed about this release on a conference call (including this faux-journalist who didn't know of Linda's illness and said, why don't you three tour??? Idiot.), and when they were hanging up, they overheard Linda say to the other two, it was so great to hear your voices again. Geez, they're not in touch? If you can't find time for a friendship like this, especially when one is so ill, what are you spending your time on? Had to say it, I sometimes think that people who have such special relationships in their life don't really realize how fortunate they are unless someone with an outside perspective points it out.
Perfect fix for my 54 year old house with plaster & lathe (metal wire) walls. The cable modem is located in the TV room, which is on the opposite side of my 1600 sq foot house from my computer room. Using an Asus rt-ac68 router, the best wireless speeds I could get were less than 10 Mbps. To get around this, I was using a Netgear 1200 poweline kit, but the best speeds I could get with that were around 45 Mbps up / down. This has never been acceptable for me, but the only option until now was running Ethernet cables to the back of my house. But that wouldn't solve the poor wifi in the back of the house.
This is was by far the most frustrating screen protector i have ever applied. I have applied more than a handful myself, but this specific screen protector is simply too big for the 6/6s. I ordered this product, used both protectors trying to figure out a way around the bubbles that appear around the protector, but after being sent another pack very kindly by the company, i tried and failed once more. Unless you are not a perfectionist like i am and don't mind huge bubbles around the entirety of your whole phone, then go for it. I suggest you save your money, and go to a place where they will professionally install a screen protector for you, and that is what I'm gonna do. The company itself is very nice and very understanding, but the product simply does NOT work.
My hair stylist loves this product, and now I do too! Smells great, gives you awesome shine & bounce, and doesn't weigh down your hair. It's a must buy. (For reference, I have really long hair with a tendency toward curl/frizz.)
I read over 50 reviews before using this product tonight. I am 54, I have been dying my hair since I was 30. For the past 20 yrs, my color has been medium to dark mahagony brown. At the beginning my roots would be my reddish brown hair, then I started noticing some gray roots. Now the roots are completely white and I had to dye my roots every 3 weeks when that terrible line between white and dark brown made it look as if my hair was thin and or non existent at the scalp.
