This is a dark romance. Warning topics could be triggers for some- mature readers only. Having stated that. This book is great. It grabs you from the start. It is intense, hot. Love the characters. The story makes it hard to stop reading, you want to know what is going to happen next. I received this as a ARC. I voluntarily provided this review.
I bought this with a Too Faced eye shadow palette for my wedding make-up. I can definitely tell the difference between when I use the primer and when I do not. I use a little on my eyebrows, and it helps keep the powder to darken my eyebrows from smearing or wearing down. I will say that if you have a long day, or if your face is really oily, the effects of the primer won't last as long. If I am working for 12 hours, I notice that there is a minor eyeshadow crease that forms. Overall, the quality is amazing and it definitely helps enhance my make-up application.
I have not bought the book (not technical enough), but this is one of the best illustrated books I have ever seen, judging by the sample pages available on Google Books (Am I allowed to mention Google on Amazon?). If it wasn't so expensive, I would bought one just for the colorful/colourful illustrations. Should make an excellent introduction to computers and networks. The title could have been more descriptive.
HOWEVER I DON'T ADVISE GETTING MORE THAN ONE AT A TIME.. THEY SEEM TO GET AN OILY SLICKNESS TO THEM WHEN SITTING.. EMPTIED THEM AND PUT A COUPLE TWISTED PIECES OF PAPER TOWEL TO DRY THEM UP A BIT AND THEY ARE FINE.
When I was in grade school, I distinctly remember my teacher going over the change and how it would alter my life, hygiene, sleep, hormones and just about everything that makes me a woman. That change was the magical period. What I don't recall is anyone telling me about the less than magical thing called menopause that would also change everything I know about being a woman. Thanks to Estrolibrium, that change is not as awful as it was and for that, I am thankful!
As I was reading it about a year ago, I kept wishing I had read it in high school. I would probably have enjoyed my relationships a lot more and likely avoided the needless heartache and mental anguish that comes along with being a "nice guy" who has always responded to fit tests and tantrums by working even harder to please. I feel it has benefited both myself and my wife. I definitely have an easier time dealing with the very confusing and frustrating behavior that can come out, and am no longer afraid to call out inappropriate behavior. I found this book after coming across the author's blog and wanted to know more about fit tests. That aspect alone is worth the read. It's easy to read (I couldn't stop) and very entertaining. I will share this book with my son when he's old enough to benefit from it.
